TOEFL Tutoring in Manila

Non-native English speakers required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) can achieve their desired scores with Manhattan Review's Manila test prep services. We offer TOEFL prep courses, TOEFL private tutoring, and TOEFL practice tests that facilitate proficiency on all four sections of the exam. Our TOEFL instruction may be taken either on-site in Manila or online from anywhere, and we also provide flexible scheduling plans that allow local students to begin TOEFL study right away. Manhattan Review is a global education company that has been helping international students succeed since 1999, and we have taught tens of thousands of students how to achieve higher TOEFL scores and better language skills. Phone, email, or contact us online at your earliest convenience for details on available course plans or for answers to your questions. We'll help you decide which of our TOEFL options is the best fit for your unique circumstances.

At Manhattan Review, we regularly see our TOEFL clients admitted to outstanding schools such as Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, Stanford, the University of Edinburgh, Princeton, the University of Toronto, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, McGill University, the University of Chicago, King's College London, the University of California-Berkeley, the London School of Economics, the University of Virginia, Australian National University, the University of Michigan, the University of Melbourne, the University of Pennsylvania, and many others. We're just as proud of the fact that our students eventually land jobs at top firms around the world. Some of our past Manila TOEFL clients are now back in the city, working for Land Bank of the Philippines, San Miguel Corporation, TicketNet, Social Weather Stations, 2GO Group, and other Manila-based organizations. Numerous former Manhattan Review TOEFL students now have great jobs at Fortune 500 companies, such as Express Scripts Holding, Dow Chemical, JP Morgan Chase, World Fuel Services, and New York Life Insurance.

The TOEFL is one of the most commonly taken English-language assessments in the world. It is accepted by all universities in the United States and by most universities in other English-speaking countries. It is common knowledge that the TOEFL has a four-section structure (reading, writing, speaking, and listening), but what is less widely known is the synthesis of language skills required by the exercises in all sections of the test. Students must frequently combine two or more of the above areas to complete each TOEFL section, and this makes the TOEFL a high-quality assessment of real-world language skills. Students who receive high scores on the TOEFL (which we generally define as sectional scores of 25 each and a total score of 100) can be assured of their ability to communicate in English, both in their postsecondary coursework and in their day-to-day lives. TOEFL students are rewarded with much more than just passing test scores.

Jordin T. has been teaching individual TOEFL tutoring sessions and TOEFL group courses for Manhattan Review in Manila since 2016, and before joining our local TOEFL team, he had accumulated eight years of TOEFL experience in the United States. Jordin's TOEFL teaching has helped more than 700 students from a wide variety of backgrounds improve their TOEFL and language skills and meet their degree programs' TOEFL standards.

Jordin was educated at Georgetown University (bachelor of arts in English) and Boston University (master of arts in teaching). He also completed a TESOL certificate at American University. Unlike many prep tutors, TOEFL instruction is Jordin's primary career, which he pursues on a full-time basis.
